Wicked Director Jon M Chu Defends Making This 1 Change In New Sequel

At the UK premiere of Wicked last year, director Jon M Chu defended the sequel’s name change to Wicked For Good, explaining that “Who wants a movie called Wicked: Part Two?” The decision to rename the film was made to avoid potential inconsistency with the first installment. The upcoming movie will feature new songs and update controversial aspects of the stage musical’s second act.
