Traffic was backed up for seven miles on southbound Interstate 5 on Black Friday as shoppers flooded into the Woodburn Premium Outlets, causing congestion from Donald to Woodburn. Some drivers recommended staying in the far-left lanes of the freeway or taking Highway 99E as alternate routes to navigate through the area. In addition to the holiday shopping crowds, a crash was reported just north of the Donald-Aurora exit, contributing to the traffic delays on the busy shopping day.
