By monitoring high-accuracy reference stations in Hanle and Bengaluru, Indian scientists track the movement of land masses using GPS instruments to assess the continental drift, with Hanle moving 85 centimetres northeastwards in 25 years, highlighting the continuous geological changes in the region.
