Police Dispute Virginia Tech Professor’s Hate Crime Allegation

However, the Christiansburg Police Department found no evidence of racial bias or criminal intent, stating the group was attending an organized function. Agozino expressed concern that the police’s conclusion could embolden the juveniles, despite their lack of intent. He appreciated police support and increased patrols near his home.
