November’s full moon, known as the ‘Beaver Moon’, will be a supermoon this year, shining up to 15 per cent brighter and looking up to 30 per cent larger than an average full moon. The moon will be its brightest on Friday, November 15, at 9.28pm, offering stargazers a magnificent visual spectacle. Named after beavers’ winter preparations and historical fur hunting activities, the Beaver Moon can be best enjoyed by getting up high, away from light pollution, and using tools like the Star Chart app for a more enhanced stargazing experience.
