WhatsApp just got a bunch of new features, including document scanning

WhatsApp has introduced several new features in its latest software update. These include tappable reactions in chats, online user indicators in group chats, event creation in solo conversations, document scanning and sending for iPhone users, and setting WhatsApp as the default messaging app on iPhones. The update also includes a dedicated tab for calls, pinch to zoom feature for video calls on iPhones, recording and sharing short videos in channels, voice message transcripts, and sharing QR codes for channels. Additionally, users can now change chat themes, add music to their WhatsApp Status, and upgrade avatars. More features and updates are expected in the future.
