Rhetoric in Sudan’s ongoing conflict has intensified as Rapid Support Forces commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known as “Hemedti,” stated his troops are ready to fight until 2040. This follows Sudan’s army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan’s declaration to continue combat until the RSF is eliminated, with the war potentially lasting until 2033.
