Western nations urge Israel to halt settlement expansion and violence

Nine Western nations, including the UK, Germany, and France, have urged Israel to halt its settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank, labeling such actions as breaches of international law. The statement called for Israel to ensure accountability for settler violence, respect for Jerusalem’s Holy Sites, and support for the Palestinian Authority’s economy.
