Western Force back-rower Nick Champion de Crespigny has been appointed Wallabies captain for their upcoming match against Japan, becoming only the third Force player to lead the team in a Test. Coach Joe Schmidt’s decision comes after resting regular captain Harry Wilson and several key players, with Champion de Crespigny set to make his first start since July.
