Werder Bremen consider signing journeyman keeper Alexander Schwolow

Werder Bremen is considering signing 33-year-old goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow to replace the departing Michael Zetterer. Despite having 206 Bundesliga appearances, Schwolow, a free agent after his contract with Union Berlin expired, may serve primarily as a backup to young prospect Mio Backhaus, who is yet to make his league debut.
