The International Lake Ontario–St. Lawrence River Board will temporarily increase outflows from Lake Ontario on October 17 and 18 to assist recreational boaters in Lac Saint-Louis, near Montreal, with seasonal watercraft removal. This decision comes as local marina owner Yvon Vannini notes unprecedented low water levels in decades.
