Western Australian scientists are collaborating on three research projects, funded with $2.17 million, to manage the invasive polyphagous shot-hole borer, which threatens local horticulture and biodiversity. The projects, led by the University of Western Australia, Murdoch University, and Curtin University, aim to develop control measures, understand the beetle’s biology, and implement decision support tools for long-term management.
