Volkswagen Self-Driving Minibus in Norway
Volkswagen has signed an agreement to launch its self-driving electric ID.Buzz minibus in Oslo, Norway, in partnership with local transport operator Ruter and Nordic operator Holo. The rollout, scheduled for early 2026, follows launches in Hamburg and Berlin, with plans for expansion to Los Angeles next year. Currently, vehicles operate with a safety driver, but VW aims to secure approval for fully driverless operation across Europe and the US by the end of 2026.
