Vote for Louisville-area high school player of the week

Voting is open for The Courier Journal’s girls athlete of the week, with nominees including freshman Ryleah Lawrence, eighth grader Josslyn Woosley, junior Hadley Dierking, junior Kadie Bosemer, and junior Eva Hidrogo. Lawrence had 7 hits and 4 RBIs, Woosley pitched a shutout, Dierking went 4 for 4 with a triple and home run, Bosemer struck out 9 without allowing a hit, and Hidrogo had 9 hits and 12 RBIs in the first three games. Voting closes at 6 p.m. Thursday, with the winner announced Friday.
