Voting for the Montgomery Advertiser’s high school boys soccer Player of the Year for the 2026 season, sponsored by The Vance Law Firm, will commence on Sunday, June 7, and close at noon on Thursday, June 11. Among the nominees are Atticus Clements from Saint James, who scored 18 goals and made the all-state team; Patricio Hernandez of Pike Road, who averaged two goals per game; JP Costa from Montgomery Catholic, who netted one-third of his team’s goals; Grady Ming of Montgomery Academy, who recorded over 190 saves; and Carlos Salazar from Brewbaker Tech, who contributed significantly to the defense with over 40 steals.
