Venezuela reports 100 deaths in US operation against Maduro

A Venezuelan official reported that 100 people were killed during a U.S. military operation aimed at capturing President Nicolás Maduro, with Venezuela’s interior minister claiming 23 military deaths. Cuba confirmed that 32 of its armed forces members also died in the operation, which was conducted by Delta Force. Maduro and his wife were reportedly injured, and U.S. officials stated that seven service members were injured, with five returning to duty. The mission, known as Operation Absolute Resolve, successfully captured Maduro, who has since been brought to the U.S. for prosecution.
