Vandana Katariya, India’s most capped player in women’s hockey, has announced her retirement from international hockey after 15 years and 320 matches, including a historic fourth-place finish at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Despite stepping away from international play, the 32-year-old plans to continue her hockey career in the women’s Hockey India League (HIL), expressing gratitude for the memories, lessons, and love received throughout her journey.
