Validus secures up to US$50M from HSBC to support Indonesian MSMEs

Nikhilesh Goel is the Co-founder and Group CEO of Validus, a Singapore-based digital SME lending platform that has partnered with HSBC to raise up to US$50 million in debt facility. The capital will be used by Validus’s Indonesian subsidiary, Batumbu, to support local MSMEs and address the country’s financing gap. Batumbu has reported increasing profits over two years, showcasing the success of their operations in Indonesia.
