Tech3 KTM stand-in rider Pol Espargaro criticized Franco Morbidelli’s aggressive maneuver on lap one of the Portuguese Grand Prix, deeming it “way too aggressive.” The incident at Turn 5 saw Morbidelli, riding for VR46 Ducati, crash and retire from the race, making him the biggest loser of the situation.
