M-Sport is prioritizing the development of a new car to comply with the World Rally Championship’s upcoming 2027 technical regulations, rather than upgrading its existing Rally2 model. The new regulations aim to create a more affordable and flexible framework, with a cost cap of €345,000, to attract additional manufacturers and teams to the competition.
