Barcelona hosted its final Spanish Grand Prix at the Montmelo venue, despite losing the race, and remains optimistic about retaining its Formula 1 status. The event will be relocated to the new Madring in Madrid in 2026, while Barcelona will still feature two races on next year’s calendar as it completes its final year. This transition marks a significant change for Spain’s F1 landscape, with the Montmelo venue holding a prominent place in the sport’s history.
