After last year’s Monaco “procession,” Red Bull team principal Christian Horner called for changes in Formula 1, prompting the FIA to implement a new rule for this year’s grand prix. This rule requires each driver to use three sets of tyres during the race, aiming to enhance strategic intrigue and avoid a repeat of the previous year’s lackluster event. The change is expected to add excitement to the race, provided that there are no red flags to alter the tyre usage strategy.
