Evans experiences first WRC retirement since 2024

Elfyn Evans has shared the reason behind his retirement from the Safari Rally Kenya, marking his first withdrawal from a World Rally Championship event since September 2024. The Toyota driver was in second place, trailing rally leader Oliver Solberg by 22.6 seconds when his GR Yaris suffered a failure in the right rear suspension at the start of Stage 13. The damage was too extensive to allow for repairs.
