BTCC champion Hill not totally satisfied despite Brands Hatch pole

Reigning British Touring Car champion Jake Hill expressed concerns about his BMW’s pace despite leading a team 1-2 in qualifying for the second round at Brands Hatch. The West Surrey Racing team, which features the 330i M Sports, experienced disappointment in the opening round at Donington Park, the first event following the removal of the hybrid system. Although the changes have lightened the cars by 55kg, they have adversely affected performance, prompting Hill’s caution about the team’s competitive status.
