Toyota driver Nirei Fukuzumi recorded the fastest time during two days of Super Formula pre-season testing at Suzuka, clocking a lap of 1m36.290s on Thursday. Fukuzumi, who has joined Rookie Racing for the 2026 season after two years with KCMG, finished just ahead of Nakajima Racing’s Igor Fraga, who was second-fastest, trailing by 0.055 seconds. The testing took place under dry conditions.
