Over 80 Afghan women studying in Oman on a U.S.-funded scholarship face imminent deportation to Afghanistan after the program was canceled by the Trump administration’s cuts to foreign aid. The students, fearing persecution and life-threatening risks, are appealing for help to continue their education abroad.
