Denali Brehmer, convicted and sentenced to 99 years in prison for the 2019 murder of her friend Cynthia Hoffman, revealed in a recent interview that she was catfished by Darin Schilmiller, who offered her $9 million to commit the crime. Brehmer, along with friends Kayden McIntosh and Caleb Leyland, carried out the killing after being solicited by Schilmiller, who posed as “Tyler” online and targeted Hoffman due to a fight between the two girls. Brehmer admitted to the premeditated murder out of anger towards Hoffman but expressed remorse and took responsibility for her actions, emphasizing that the crime was a result of a manipulated situation.
