American tourist Stephen Termini, now going by Stephen Wilson Donnelly, is seeking Irish citizenship and access to the Republic’s health system due to ongoing injuries from a brutal attack in Dublin’s north inner city. The attack, carried out by a teenage gang, left him with extensive head and brain injuries, leading to chronic pain and seizures. Termini hopes to live in Ireland long term and secure citizenship, with plans to stay in Co Mayo where his grandmother lived before emigrating to the US.
