US naval ships transit Strait of Hormuz for mine-clearing operations

Iran’s military quickly denied this claim, asserting control over vessel movements in the strait. These developments coincide with U.S.-Iran negotiations in Islamabad, which have faced challenges, particularly over the future control of the strategically vital strait.
