US Prosecutors Do Not Indict Democratic Lawmakers

A grand jury declined to indict several Democratic US lawmakers, including senators Elise Slotkin and Mark Kelly, after they urged military members to resist unlawful orders from President Trump. This occurred amid rising tensions over Trump’s deployment of the National Guard and controversial military actions. His administration has faced backlash for allegedly targeting political opponents and invoking federal forces in Democratic-led cities.
