The United States has lost seven MQ-9 Reaper drones, each costing approximately $30 million, in Yemen since March 15, amid ongoing airstrikes against the Huthi rebels. Additionally, the Navy reported the loss of an F/A-18E warplane, valued over $67 million, which fell off the USS Harry S. Truman during towing, injuring one sailor. The US military has conducted over 800 strikes against Huthi targets, as the group has disrupted shipping in the region, directly impacting the Suez Canal, a critical global trade route.
