US removes restrictions on Anthropic’s AI models Fable and Mythos

Anthropic has announced it will restore access to its AI models, Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5, following the U.S. government’s removal of export controls. The Department of Commerce informed the company that it no longer requires an export license, allowing access to both models for U.S. organizations involved in critical infrastructure. The restrictions were initially imposed due to national security concerns, leading to tensions between Anthropic and the Trump administration.
