US House results: What to expect as Republicans eye control of Congress

The Republicans are close to securing a majority in the US House of Representatives, needing only four more seats to reach the 218 needed for control. Currently, they hold 214 seats compared to the Democrats’ 203. Republicans are leading in eight of the 18 House races yet to be called. If they secure the majority, Trump could easily enact his legislative agenda with Republican majorities in both chambers of Congress.
