US family seeks release of hospitalized pro-Palestine protester

Leqaa Kordia’s family was left in the dark when she was rushed from an immigration detention center in Texas to a hospital. After more than 12 hours of no information, she was confirmed to have suffered a seizure and released from the hospital. Amnesty International called for her release, citing unfair targeting for pro-Palestine advocacy, while her lawyers alleged unjust treatment and blocked release attempts.
