The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation claims aid distribution sites have been closed to carry out ‘maintenance’ work.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) has suspended aid distribution following closures due to maintenance, with operations set to resume when repairs are complete. This comes after Israeli forces opened fire on aid seekers multiple times near GHF sites, resulting in significant casualties, including at least 27 deaths in a recent attack. The international community, including the UN and UK, has expressed outrage and called for investigations into these incidents amid ongoing violence in Gaza, which has led to over 54,000 Palestinian deaths since October 2023.
