Plans have been approved for a $22 million micro apartment project in Perth’s inner suburbs, featuring units primarily measuring 26 square meters, which are among the smallest in Australia. The development will consist of 88 self-contained flats, including 64 micro apartments and 24 lofts, all fully furnished and available for flexible leasing rather than sale. The Western Australia Planning Commission approved the project despite objections regarding the building’s height, highlighting the area’s underdevelopment and proximity to the Perth CBD.
