The U.S. Army is investigating the death of 1st Lt. Marciano Parisano, a 25-year-old Black Hawk pilot, found deceased in Comayagua, Honduras, while on authorized leave. Parisano, from Cibolo, Texas, served with the 1st Battalion, 228 Aviation Regiment at Soto Cano Air Base and graduated from West Point in 2023. The investigation into the circumstances of his death is being conducted by the Honduran National Police in coordination with the U.S. Embassy and Army Criminal Investigation Department.
