A man in his thirties was fatally stabbed inside a Lloyds Bank branch on St Peter’s Street in Derby city centre around 2.35pm today, leading to a murder investigation by the police. Eyewitness Mark Hague described the scene as horrific, with piercing screams heard during the incident, which resulted in a significant police presence and cordoning off of the busy shopping area. A spokesperson for Lloyds expressed sadness over the event and stated their support for affected colleagues while cooperating with authorities.
