Urgent recall for cough syrup over risk of deadly food poisoning

Medtech Products Inc has recalled five lots of its Little Remedies Honey Cough Syrup due to contamination with Bacillus cereus, a bacteria that can cause serious food-borne illnesses, including death. The affected syrup, sold nationwide from December 2022 to June 2023, is in 4 fluid ounce amber bottles; customers are advised to stop using the product and contact Medtech for a refund.
