Unruly passenger attempted to open exit doors mid-flight, forced plane to divert to Seattle

An unruly passenger forced an All Nippon Airways flight from Tokyo to Houston to divert to Seattle after attempting to open the plane’s exit doors during the flight. The individual was restrained by fellow passengers and crew before landing at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, where he was assessed by police and taken to a hospital for a medical crisis, with charges pending. Additionally, a second unrelated unruly passenger was removed by police while the flight was on the tarmac, and the flight continued to Houston shortly after.
