UN aid chief Tom Fletcher has urged Israel to provide evidence for its claims that staff of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) are linked to Hamas, following accusations made by Israel’s UN Ambassador during a Security Council meeting. Fletcher emphasized the seriousness of the allegations and the importance of humanitarian access, while Israel reaffirmed its commitment to aid but stated it would not collaborate with politically biased organizations.
