Shakhtar Donetsk to Play Champions League Home Games at Former Chelsea Stadium

Ukrainian football club Shakhtar Donetsk will play their home Champions League matches at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge in London, as they have not been able to host games in Ukraine since 2014 due to conflict. The team, which has faced security issues since the Russian invasion, will play at least four home games in the tournament starting next month, pending UEFA approval. Chelsea, now owned by Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, is coordinating with Shakhtar to ensure safe conditions for the matches.
