UK government expresses concern over abuse allegations against West Ham co-owner

Allegations against David Sullivan, co-owner of West Ham football club, have emerged, accusing him of sexual exploitation linked to incidents from the 1980s and 1990s. The British government called the claims “deeply concerning,” urging a serious investigation. Sullivan, who recently stepped down as joint chair, has denied the allegations, describing them as sensationalized. The Metropolitan Police are conducting an inquiry, and the Independent Football Regulator is assessing Sullivan’s suitability as a club owner.
