UK plans evacuation for 300,000 nationals from the Middle East

Officials are evacuating over 300,000 British nationals from the Gulf following US and Israeli strikes against Iran, which have caused damage in Dubai and elsewhere. The Foreign Office has updated travel advice, urging citizens to register their presence in Bahrain, Israel, Kuwait, the Palestinian territories, Qatar, or the UAE. The recent conflict, sparked by the killing of Iran’s leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has resulted in significant casualties, including children in Iran and US soldiers in Kuwait.
