Despite losing the first game 9-2, the Bruins rallied to win the next two games 5-4 and 5-0, showcasing what Inouye-Perez calls “Bruin Magic.” South Carolina’s season ended under first-year coach Ashley Chastain Woodard, who expressed pride in the team’s accomplishments despite the heartbreak of not reaching the World Series.
