U.S. Terminates Funding for Polio, H.I.V., Malaria and Nutrition Programs Around the World

The cancelled projects include initiatives such as polio immunization programs, malaria prevention measures, malnutrition treatment, Ebola contact tracing, and medical supply distribution, impacting millions of people across various countries. The cuts have halted critical services like tuberculosis medication distribution, maternal and child health services, and neglected tropical disease prevention, putting vulnerable populations at immediate risk of death and worsening health outcomes in affected regions.
