Two people injured in incident at east Auckland house

Police are assisting Fire and Emergency NZ and St John Ambulance paramedics at an incident in Bucklands Beach. Times file photo

Emergency services are responding to an incident in east Auckland that’s left two people injured.

A police spokesperson says police officers are assisting personnel from Fire and Emergency NZ and St John Ambulance at the Bucklands Beach property this afternoon.

β€œAt this stage is appears two people have been injured.

β€œOne person is in a critical condition, while another received moderate injuries.

β€œEmergency services remain at the scene to work out the exact circumstances surrounding the situation.

β€œWe will provide more information when it becomes available.”

News media are reporting emergency services were called to the house shortly before 1pm today.

One of the injured people is reported to have been taken to Auckland City Hospital for medical treatment.
