Two men barricaded in Brossard and Longueuil, police report

Police in Brossard and Longueuil responded to two separate incidents involving men in crisis, with one barricaded in a residence on Croissant Beaumanoir and another on Joliette St. The man in Brossard, in his 30s, prompted the evacuation of the area for safety reasons, with about 15 people secured as a precaution. The man in Longueuil was brought under control by the police tactical intervention team and taken to a hospital for assessment.
