Two dead in Alberta shooting; suspect in custody

One man is in custody following the deaths of two individuals near Grande Prairie, Alberta, early Saturday morning. The 42-year-old suspect was arrested after a dangerous person alert was issued, indicating he was armed and had fired on multiple people while fleeing in a black truck. Authorities confirmed that the suspect and the victims were known to each other and stated there is no ongoing threat to the public. The Grande Prairie RCMP is conducting the investigation.
