Two men, Jamonte Fitzgerald Johnson and E’shon Dwayne Dodson, have been convicted of robbing an off-duty Secret Service agent at gunpoint in Tustin, California after a Los Angeles fundraiser attended by President Joe Biden. Johnson, a “third striker,” was found guilty of second-degree robbery and possession of a firearm, facing a maximum sentence of 35 years to life, while Dodson faces a maximum of six years in state prison. Another suspect, Bertran Claude Bell, was wounded during the robbery and sentenced to six years in state prison as well.
